Sequel to the completion of a beginner course in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) from Evotech, and my continued study through various FEA resources and PDFs, I’ve become increasingly fascinated by the power and potential of FEA in product design and performance. Now, I’m eager to take the next step. I’m humbly seeking a remote, volunteer beginner internship opportunity to gain hands-on experience and apply what I’ve learned in real-world scenarios. I’m more than willing to take on any tasks, no matter how basic, to continue building a solid foundation in FEA. I’m passionate, driven, and committed to growing my skills in this field, and I would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute my energy to any individual or company that carries out FEA on their products. If anyone has an opportunity or could guide me toward one, I’d sincerely appreciate it. Thank you for considering my request, and I look forward to connecting with others who share a passion for FEA! #FEA #FiniteElementAnalysis #Internship #Engineering #Learning #Growth #Evotech #Opportunities #Simulation #Abaqus #Ansys #Solidmechanics.

Summer Internship Recap! 🌟 This summer, I had the incredible opportunity to intern with the Department of Engineering at the University of Southern Maine, working under the guidance of Asst. Prof. Asheesh Ravikumar Lanba and Asst. Prof. Amir Kordijazi. During this time, I contributed to an ambitious research project focused on developing a fully autonomous, self-driving additive manufacturing lab using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. 💡 What I accomplished: • Automated the FEA simulation process using ANSYS and Python scripting. • Developed scripts to convert STL files into meshable CAD geometries for simulations. • Integrated ML algorithms to optimize manufacturing processes and predict outcomes. • Contributed to a larger project on the intersection of mechanical engineering, materials science, and computer science. 📚 What I learned: • Advanced ANSYS simulation techniques and automation processes. • Practical applications of machine learning in manufacturing. • Enhanced my problem-solving and research skills, especially in converting complex geometries and optimizing workflows. 🔧 Currently working on: • Developing enhanced ML algorithms like Gaussian and Bayesian models to build a more efficient Self-Driving Lab (SDL) system for autonomous manufacturing. • We’re also in the process of a journal publication on these exciting developments! I’m grateful for this opportunity and excited to continue growing in the field of smart manufacturing and automation. Looking forward to what’s next!
