One important tip for graduates and first time job seekers is to understand the importance of your employment contract. Why? Because it’s a legal document and it needs to be read thoroughly and understood fully. You need to be fully aware of what you’re signing. Too many times during the offer placement round we’ve seen candidates come back to us and say that they didn’t realize their notice period is 2, 4 or 6 months ! They are baffled and we are back to round 1 of finding another suitable candidate. A horrible situation to be in. So please. Don’t be caught off guard and remember to read that document before signing it. #hr #recruitment

44% of candidates who accept a job offer end up not starting... This stat can vary greatly, but having a clear and engaging process between the offer and start date can help minimise this risk. What you can do: - Stay in touch with candidates from the moment they accept the offer. Regular updates and check-ins can make a big difference. - Invite candidates to pre-onboarding sessions, make welcome calls, and introduce them to the team. This not only makes them feel valued but also eases first-day nerves. - Ensure the offer is attractive to your candidate in terms of salary, benefits, and perks. Understanding from the start what a strong offer for them looks like can reduce the likelihood of candidates accepting counteroffers. - Be upfront about the job role, company culture, and expectations. Clear communication prevents any surprises and builds trust. While you can't control everything, making candidates feel like they belong right from the moment they accept the offer—along with providing a great offer and transparency—significantly increases the chances they'll be excited to start on day one! What else would you add to this list? Want to chat about how we navigate post-offer to start dates so most people start? I’m always happy to chat! #ExecutiveRecruitment #TalentAcquisition #RecruitmentStrategies

⛔️Don't accept a new job offer without asking these questions: 1. How does this role contribute to the company's mission and long-term goals? ➡️This question helps you understand the role’s strategic importance and its impact on the company’s success. 2. How are the salaries, raises, and promotions determined for your team? ➡️This question reveals the company's approach to salary structure and raises, showing whether the compensation practices are transparent and fair. 3. Can you share a specific instance where the company supported an employee's professional growth or career advancement through mentorship, training, or other means? ➡️Understanding how the company has fostered professional development in the past gives you a concrete idea of the opportunities available. 4. Can you describe the onboarding process through a recent example, including how new hires were supported and integrated into the company? ➡️This provides a realistic view of what you can expect during your initial period at the company. ▶️Check out the rest of the questions in this article https://lnkd.in/dsEdxuvi #interviewquestions #joboffer #Fuzujobs
