Always great to catch up with Isabel Cabrejas Ruiz . Her enthusiasm, energy for, and knowledge of the women’s game is always uplifting! Some great ideas as always! ⚽️
Exactly.
Those who do not remember the past are condemned to repeat it. Macron, together with other world leaders, have become knee-jerk talking heads, with no sense of history or of what war is. If not for the cruelty of war in the 1940s, he and his family would be working for Nazi slave masters.
William Tecumseh Sherman, the general who burned Atlanta to the ground and helped win the Civil War, famously said: "War is cruelty, and you cannot refine it; and those who brought war into our country deserve all the curses and maledictions a people can pour out. I know I had no hand in making this war, and I know I will make more sacrifices to-day than any of you to secure peace."
This war was forced on Israel by #Hamas, #Iran, #Hezbollah, the #Houthis, #Syria and other enemies of #Israel and the free world. As with the #Nazis, once a war is forced, there is no choice but to win it.
Israel does more than almost any country in history to mitigate the cruelty of war, but war remains cruel. If the world truly wants to stop the suffering, it should relentlessly work with #Israel to demand that #Hamas return the #hostages safely, lay down their arms, dismantle their terror tunnels and rockets and agree to have a technocratic government installed and overseen by an international coalition.

🎸 Just watched an incredible video of Måneskin playing live on the streets of Rome, surrounded by just a dozen people.
It's amazing to think that the same band now attracts millions of fans worldwide. The only difference? Visibility.
This got me thinking about how crucial visibility is for any company. You might have an outstanding product or service, but without working to create a network and boost your visibility, your efforts might go unappreciated, and you won't achieve the success you deserve.
So, how are you increasing your company's visibility? Share your strategies in the comments! 👇

At this weekend's Oscar Awards 🏆 , the live number that brought down the house was "I'm Just Ken" the song in which Ryan Gosling bemoans being "...always number two" in a fictional Barbie 🌏 world.
The non-fiction reality, -- as shown in a recent report from The World Bank -- is quite the opposite.
"When legal differences involving violence and childcare are taken into account, women enjoy fewer than two-thirds the rights of men. No country provides equal opportunity for women—not even the wealthiest economies."
For the first time, The World Bank's report on "Women, Business, and the Law" assessed the gap between legal reforms and actual outcomes for women in 190 economies.
What the analysis revealed was a "shocking implementation gap". 😲
"Although laws on the books imply that women enjoy roughly two-thirds the rights of men, countries on average have established less than 40% of the systems needed for full implementation."
The potential impact of remedying these disparities would benefit the entire economy.
"Women have the power to turbocharge the sputtering global economy," said Indermit Gill, Chief Economist and SVP for Development Economics at The World Bank. "Yet, all over the world, discriminatory laws and practices prevent women from working or starting businesses on an equal footing with men. Closing this gap could raise global gross domestic product by more than 20% – essentially doubling the global growth rate over the next decade." 📈
As the report's lead author Tea Trumbic shared, "“Today, barely half of women participate in the global workforce, compared with nearly three out of every four men. This is not just unfair—it’s wasteful. Increasing women's economic participation is the key to amplifying their voices and shaping decisions that affect them directly. Countries simply cannot afford to sideline half of their population.”

Today, we honor Juneteenth, the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. This day marks a pivotal moment in American history when, on June 19, 1865, Union soldiers arrived in Galveston, Texas, with the news that the Civil War had ended and enslaved people were now free—two and a half years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.

It’s awesome to see Daniel get onto Andy Stumpf’s podcast, Cleared Hot!
Regardless of how you might feel about the FBI, government agencies, and the ongoing political and social unrest, change only happens when people talk, share experiences, and collaborate to work towards a resolution.
Daniel’s experience and expertise through his career at the on organized crime, cartel activity, and the justice system makes him a voice that should be heard, taken seriously, and acted on accordingly.
Check out this episode!
PS - I would highly recommend connecting with Daniel, subscribing to his newsletter, and staying engaged with the content he is putting out through he and his wife’s company, Brunner Sierra Group LLC.

I had the privilege of joining Andy Stumpf on the Cleared Hot Podcast to discuss my years in the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) while investigating Hispanic Organized Crime like Tren de Aragua, and the expanding criminal organizations across this country. It was an incredible opportunity to share insights, exchange ideas, and learn from one of the best in the business.
A huge thank you to Andy for the invitation and the thoughtful conversation.

It has been a journey learning how we human beings have different levels of capabilities and capacities of caring, giving, understanding and communicating. I have defined wisdom and maturity many times in my classes when we are discussing information systems.
It still challenges me to see how I, as an organism, can be so complex let alone others around me… and then the further complex systems, organisations and institutions that we mastered to create. Ah!
Somewhere we all do need a break to break away into a singular component that is neither dependent or interdependent to exist.
The questions are, are we ready to give a thought to creating spaces, are we as a society will let it or we’ll always be disrupting in the illusion of control that we desperately desire?
