Thrilled to wrap up an electrifying first week at VAST Data! Launching my journey at #GTC24 was nothing short of inspiring. Immersing in a sea of innovative minds, I had the privilege to connect with amazing customers and partners, and equally important, to bond with many of my new colleagues. Reflecting on the past week, I was transported back to the dynamism of VMworld 15 years ago—a time when virtualization and the dawn of cloud computing were reshaping industries. Yet, as transformative as the cloud era was, it pales in comparison to the horizon we're now approaching. The age of AI is upon us, and it's poised to redefine our future in unimaginable ways. Two weeks ago, I spoke with Charles Payne @cvpayne and said that Nvidia #NVDA moving its product release cycle from two years to one year for data center GPUs is "bold, daring and has never been done before." Also, in my free newsletter and 4000+ word analysis on @Forbes prior to earnings: "The product road map is the single most important thing investors should be focused on. A good chunk of the AI accelerator story is understood at this point. What is not understood is how aggressive Nvidia is becoming by speeding up to a one-year release cycle for its next generation of GPUs instead of a two-year release cycle." The conclusion is that Nvidia is no longer cyclical, rather it's secular. Fast forward, and two weeks later, Nvidia shined a light on this exact strategy with the announcement of Blackwell Ultra, Rubin and Rubin Ultra. Within each, there will be additional releases, such as the B100, B200 and GB200 NVL72 for Blackwell alone.
