🎓 Cyber Vigil University Townhall Meeting Recap 🎓 Am excited to share highlights from our First  Cyber Vigil University Townhall! It was an inspiring event that reinforced several core principles: 1. Collaboration: The event showcased the incredible power of working together. Our collective effort strengthens our cybersecurity initiatives and drives meaningful progress. 2. Effective Communication: Transparent and open dialogue was central to our discussions. Clear communication ensures we are aligned and moving towards our shared goals. 3. Volunteering: The enthusiasm for volunteering was palpable. It’s clear that our commitment to supporting each other and contributing our time is vital for achieving our vision and mission. 4. Working Together: Ultimately, our success depends on our ability to unite and work towards our common goals. The synergy of our combined efforts is key to advancing our mission. #CyberEssentials Plus is for charities too! 🔒 This Charity Cyber Essentials Awareness Month, we are revisiting an article with Sara Ward, the CEO of Black Country Women's Aid, who discussed her organisation's experience of gaining Cyber Essentials Plus certification in an interview with the National Cyber Security Centre: "Information in the wrong hands brings significant risk… We want to show not just our commissioners we can be trusted, but also the people who come into our service.
