Making friends at work can be a common occurrence, especially when we spend most of our waking hours with our coworkers. We share jokes, coffee breaks, and even vent about our bosses together. But can these work friendships truly compare to the bonds we form outside of the office? Are they just acquaintances we label as “friends”? Best Friends make good times better and hard times easier". We need friends who contribute to our overall well-being for various reasons: Having a friend nearby provides us emotional support, creating a sense of comfort and security during challenging times. Socializing with a friend can lower our stress levels through shared laughter, conversation, and the feeling of companionship. Our positive interactions with friends release endorphins, contributing to a heightened sense of happiness and well-being.
