The recent policies enacted reaffirmed our commitment to address critical diving issues in Nigeria Diving Sector with the potential to grow the country economy. This initiative is part of my resolve to ensure a SAFE & EQUITY Diving Sector Projects, we are also ensuring the strategies fulfill their intended purpose. It aligns with our NIGERIAN OIL AND GAS INDUSTRY CONTENT DEVELOPMENT ACT 2010 Act No. 2, 12. Subject to section 7 of this Act, the Nigerian Content Plan submitted to the Board by an operator shall contain a detailed plan, satisfactory to the Board, setting out how the operator and their contractors will give first consideration to Nigerian goods and services, including specific examples showing how first consideration is considered and assessed by the operator in its evaluation of bids for goods and services required by the project. The agenda is to focus on developing Nigerian Divers and Experts to have the right skills and qualification to work in Nigeria Territorial Water. The policies will enhance and boost the economic growth and create job opportunities for our people.
