At Operation Gateway, advocacy is at the core of all we do. We are staffed with Community Health Workers and one of the primary components of effective community health work is TRUST!!! We have served 167 members and this is how the money spends!!! We are wide open with it because we love our community and we appreciate all of our partners. We do our best to connect with the case managers in the prison but they are short staffed and we work around by way of in reach process that OG COOP created in partnership with Brent Bailey at the Local Reentry Council and we also get community referrals from family members and other partners that provide services. We do what we have to do and CHWs are experts at figuring it out. IF YOU KNOW, YOU KNOW!!! We don’t just talk about “wraparound services,” we do this. Practical, tangible tactics!!! I'm Carrying out a project called REACH (Resources Education Advocacy for Community Health). This project is based in #Kakuma #Refugee #Camp tackling the issues of resources such as #Water. Of lately, #Kakuma is facing water crisis making people to go beyond limits in search for water. My Question is, What is the #International #Community doing in respond to this 🤔?
