The other thing to look at for on your electricity costs are the non commodity charges and fixed standing orders. What currently been done is that a % of the non commodity charges is been transferred to the standing order charge. The amount you pay will be determined by both the type of supply and the KVA agreement you have with the grid. Double check your KVA agreement and also check your consumption as you might be paying too much. If you are on a Half Hourly meter, you will be able to get your consumption from your wholesale supplier. I checked ours and chalked up rather a large saving.
