Let's just say it is another week to smash those interview questions and land your dream Job. So we will look at how you can navigate job interview questions🤔 There's a common belief that you must answer every question thrown your way during any Job Interview, no matter what. But let's face it, sometimes finding the right response isn't always easy. I've been on both sides of the table, and I've seen firsthand how candidates can sometimes divert attention or provide phonetic answers when they're unsure. One memorable experience at the early stage of my career comes to mind when I found myself veering off track in response to a question, only to be skillfully redirected by the recruiter. But here's the thing, there's more than one way to handle tricky interview questions. * Pausing Method: Some people prefer to pause and gather their thoughts before responding. *Engagement Method: Some use delay engagement tactics like saying "Thank you for asking that question" to buy themselves time to process the question. *Clarity Method Some candidates always opt to clarify the question by repeating it in their own words. For example " Are you asking about my previous experience as a recruiter" All of these methods help different candidates to process questions before answering any question because in reality only if you process a question thoroughly will you be able to give a constructive response unless you will just see yourself stuttering 😁 I'd love to hear from you in the comments! What's your go-to strategy for tackling interview questions? Let's share our insights and experiences to help each other ace those interviews! #InterviewTips #JobSearch #CareerAdvice

❌ The No. 1 mistake job candidates make in interviews ❌ What's the quickest way to get your resume thrown in the trash? Showing up late to a job interview. According to a new survey of 1,200 hiring managers, tardiness is a huge red flag for interviewers, giving them "the biggest ick." CNBC Make It's online course on how to ace your interview dives into why: A cognitive bias called the "fundamental attribution error" means the interviewer will assume a job candidate's behavior reflects their inherent nature and personality. If you're late, the manager might think you're not good with planning and time management, or that you're rude and don't care about the job. They're less likely to give you the benefit of a doubt that something came up, like a traffic accident. That's why it's super important to arrive 10-15 minutes early and nail your first impression.
