Managing Change in the roles of leadership in Nepal.

Dar e Insaniyat Pakistan held its inaugural Executive Board Meeting under the Tameer e No (تعمیرِ نو) initiative. This significant meeting brought together our Executive Board members and the newly appointed Central Cabinet. The agenda included a comprehensive review of our activities over the past five years, introductions of new teams, and critical discussions on organizational policies and procedures. We conducted a thorough review to enhance our organizational management and streamline our processes. The meeting concluded with an Oath Taking ceremony for the new Board Members and the selection of the Board Chair for the Executive Board. We are proud to announce that Mr. Israr Ul Haq Nasir has been appointed as the Board Chair through a formal voting procedure. Mastering SDGS Workshop SDGs Impact Leadership Fellowship kickstarted with a workshop covering an overview of all 17 goals where Pakistan is ranked 128th position out of 168 countries with a 58.97 score. It is pertinent to mention that even Myanmar, Kenya, Guatemala, and Rwanda have better scorecards on the SDGs platform than Pakistan. Therefore, it is time to reflect upon why we lag when it comes to development indicators. With a guest speaker, Sreelakshmi Sivadas Menon from India, the workshop remained worth attending. For every fellow, it was put to not miss a single opportunity, lecture or workshop that is meant to enhance skill development and the overall understanding of SDGs. With 17 goals and 169 targets, SDGs have five basic principles including universality, inclusiveness, integratedness, partnerships, and leaving no one behind. However, some countries have unique proposals for SDG 18 such as Laos that created history for incorporating another goal to the list titled "Lives safe from UFO; Remove the UXO obstacles to national development". With Lao's innovation, what should be Pakistan's proposal to address the poorest segments that are not yet covered by the already 17 goals? #skillistan #SDGs #lifelonglearning #leadership
