✈ A huge thank you to former United States Air Force Chief Data and Artificial Intelligence Officer Eileen Vidrine for delivering keynote remarks to Dcode's Federal Accelerator companies! Eileen spoke with our startups on how to set a robust strategy to navigate Federal complexity and win new revenue. Here were some of the key takeaways: 1️⃣ Eileen coached companies on the value of SBIR as a way to get your foot in the door, but cautioned that unless you can demonstrate value in the first six months, the initiative is unlikely to lead to programmatic funding. 2️⃣ Eileen suggested that companies diligently consider ATO requirements to accelerate adoption before pushing for significant work with DoD. 3️⃣ Eileen advised companies on their communications strategies, suggesting that companies regularly engage their DoD partners, while also managing thought leadership and speaking opportunities.
