Happy G2 Organizational Day to all our devoted G2 workers! ODCS-G2 hosted a wonderful Organizational Day event at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and featured a variety of games, including 4 in a Row, Jenga Giant, BLOG-O-BALL, Horseshoe, Cornhole, and Kickball for the team and family members to participate in. Who else in the event industry can not go to a live production without noticing something that could have been done better? What is your pet peeve that you can not unsee as an attendee? #liveevents #event #eventprofs #eventproduction
Founder @ Decibel Events | Live Events, Experiential Marketing, Trade Shows, General Sessions, Broadcast
It turns out I am a bit of a flag code geek... It may stem from producing events in the D.C. area, or maybe from Presidential campaigns across the nation, but I can not unsee issues from various events displaying the U.S. Flag. This weekend's National Football League (NFL) games were no exception. I generally accept that the horizontal display of a large format flag has become commonplace at most sporting events, and while it does not adhere to the letter of the code, it at least is part of a celebration with general respect. I just can't seem to get past cutting the flag into the shape of the U.S. And not even the entire United States, but just the lower 48 (where are Alaska and Hawaii?). This just feels disrespectful to me on a lot of levels. Any other examples of poor flag etiquette at events? #Liveevents #events #eventprofs #eventproduction #NFL #Football #Sportingevents #sports #ceremony #military #unitedstates #protocol #flagcode #flag

Clash of Vikings https://lnkd.in/dFfdiD9H In the past, the Vikings were recognized as the best warriors of their time. Their life was one of war, often raiding for loot and conquering many lands. They lived in clans and often fought among themselves. In Clash of Vikings we will be able to take part in the conflict between two clans of Vikings. At the beginning of the game we need to choose the side that we are going to play. Then the lands of the two clans will appear on the screen, divided by the river with bridges over it. Each clan has defensive structures set up so that they can shoot through all visible space. There is a special control panel at the bottom of the screen for combat operations. We will use it to send our warriors into battle, including infantrymen, archers, and mages. There are also techniques for shooting and throwing fireballs. By alternating all these manipulations, we will fight the enemy and defend our towers. The winner is the one who first destroys the tower of the enemy. Clash of Vikings has an interesting gameplay and great graphics. You can play this strategy game on our website with pleasure.

I am proud of these young professional aviators from the PNGDF Air Transport Wing for taking part in Ex Pitch Black, a multi-national large force employment exercise involving aviation capabilities from over 20 countries. The reason why the PNGDF is participating with its own capability is a combination of forward-thinking leadership, the correct application of professional intellect and technical expertise, and layered against a backdrop of disciplined output. We may have our issues but those issues can be solved when high quality human enablers occupy key decision points and make those selfless decisions that enable progress. Organizational management and military strategic management are two key aspects of managing a military force, and as such, all leaders within our agency need to be well versed in those areas, if we are to narrow our options down to two key identifiers for a productive military organization.

Innovation and engineering requires practice, focus, and consistency. Martial arts, though seemingly different, requires the exact same thing. For both, the more you do them the better you become. They are complimentary. #martialarts #blackbelt #engineering #innovation #militaryveteran #marinecorpsofficer #navypilot #innovatoroftheyear #kuksoolwon

The Boyd Cycle, also known as the OODA loop was established by USAF Col John Boyd as a decision making tool, Observe, Orientate, Decide and Act. It requires organisations to decentralise decision making and empower lower levels of the organisation to make decisions. This allows you to speed up our own OODA loop and act quicker. The one with the quicker OODA loop, wins the dog fight. This is equally relevant in business, whether in sales, operations or production. How are you empowering your staff the make better decisions quicker ? #sales #operations #ooda #business #redtape #optimisation The Leading Edge Consulting Service Let's connect...

I don't post a lot about what I do in the military, but as the MIRC G3 Operations Sergeant Major, one of my annual huge events is the Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year Competition. I have been involved with this division level competition for four years, and this by far is the BEST one we have executed. Each year we improved and built on the year before. The difference with this year's competition appropriarely named "Operation Sasquatch Warrior" as it was held at JBLM, WA, April 10-15, 2024, is that we had the most MIRC Staff involved and running it. We had the most Cadre from our supported units. And we had the most competitors ever. We had 13 of a possible 14 competitors compete this year, and last we had seven. Not only did we have the most, but we had the BEST show up to support and compete. This was a group of highly talented professionals. This competition is designed to push the competitors past their limits and challenge them mentally, emotionally and physically. As the only event truly planned, coordinated, resourced, and executed by NCOs and Enlisted Soldiers, this is how we develop our young leaders, both the competitors and Cadre who are conducting the events. Finally, this effort is planned at least a year in advance. The FY25 competition is being planned now. We coordinated/collaborated with seven different units comprised of the Army Active Component and Army Reserve. The highlight was the surprise Chinook ride for our competitors. We coordinated with the Reserve Chinook unit based at JBLM, who themselves were conducting night training missions, to perform a night EXFIL of our competitors after they completed the night land navigation event! This was a first time for this type of operation in our event. The success of this competition would not be possible without my planning team. They got this done. There is not enough words for me to express my appreciation and gratitude to them for their tenacity and hard work! You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with. I was blessed to be surrounded by many of the BEST Soldiers the Army Reserve! Please enjoy the video!! https://lnkd.in/eARWAW-K
