Japan’s groundbreaking innovations continue to astound the global community, with a recent endeavor poised to revolutionize spaceflight. In a collaborative effort between NASA and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), preparations are underway to launch the world’s first wooden satellite into orbit, aiming to make space exploration more environmentally sustainable. The satellite, developed by scientists from Kyoto University in partnership with logging company Sumitomo Forestry, seeks to explore the feasibility of utilizing biodegradable materials such as wood in space technology. This initiative aims to assess the viability of eco-friendly alternatives for future satellite construction. #nasa #jaxa #spacetechnology

From Ambition to the Stars: Why Private Space Agencies are the Future of Resource Exploration. My dream is to create a private space agency that will change the game for all of humanity. Imagine a world where the resources of celestial bodies—asteroids, planets, and moons—become a source of prosperity for everyone on Earth. The exploration of space resources can not only free us from global crises caused by resource shortages but also open a new era of scientific and technological breakthroughs. Rocket engineering, automated lunar and Martian rovers, asteroid exploration—this is not just fantasy. It’s our reality of tomorrow. When humanity can extract resources from beyond Earth, we will witness a global shift in economics, science, and even politics. With every step we take toward space, we get closer to a future without wars over resources, where science and technology stand above conflict. My ambition is not just a dream. It’s a plan leading to the creation of new worlds for humanity. And I am confident that with every passing day, we are getting closer to this goal. The future belongs to those who dare to look beyond the horizon. #CosmicVision #PrivateSpaceAgency #AsteroidMining #FutureOfHumanity #Innovation #SpaceExploration #ScienceLeadership #AI #SustainableDevelopment #PeaceThroughScience

The other day filled out and sent a questionnaire to NASA, which had opened Call for Simulated Yearlong Mars Mission. Got a rejection 5 minutes later. I'd like to see their algorithm that rejects candidates immediately. What influences the decision? By the way, restrictions on citizenship, age, education, etc. could be built right into the online questionnaire. It is oddly why you are given the opportunity to fill in the whole application, if these critical fields are already filled in with knowingly inadmissible information🫡 (Question 14: Are you willing to grow and consume salad crops?) #nasa #webforms #mars #ai

NASA’s InSight mission has uncovered a groundbreaking discovery: an ocean’s worth of water buried deep within Mars’ crust. While this precious resource is currently out of reach, 1 to 2 km underground, it's further proof that Mars holds the secrets to our solar system's past—and perhaps its future. 💡 Imagine what we could find with a human presence on Mars, aided by advanced robotics. Accessing these water reserves might be one of the toughest challenges yet, but with astronauts on the ground and Martian technology at our disposal, new possibilities emerge. The presence of such deep water not only rewrites the story of Mars’ climate history but also raises tantalizing questions about the potential for life beneath its surface. It’s time to push the boundaries of exploration. 🚀 Read more 👉 https://lnkd.in/eagHyb8e #HumansToMars #ExploreMars #SpaceExploration #MarsMission #spacenews

#WeekendReflection - What’s the importance of a strong vision and a never give up mindset? 2006, SpaceX was struggling. Three consecutive Falcon 1 failures left the company in ruins, with Elon Musk sitting among the debris, contemplating what seemed like the end. Most companies might have folded—but SpaceX didn’t. Fast forward to this week: Jared Isaacman, a private citizen, and SpaceX engineer Sarah Gillis completed the world’s first commercial spacewalk aboard a Dragon capsule 740 km above Earth, a feat testing brand-new technology and marking yet another chapter in the company’s groundbreaking journey. From complete failure to pioneering space exploration—what an incredible leap. Their Polaris Dawn mission didn’t just achieve orbit—it pushed the boundaries of human spaceflight, raising funds for St. Jude Children's Hospital and setting new milestones for commercial space ventures. Even when things are tough, never give up. Humanity moves forward because of those who dare to dream, to have a vision, and the relentless desire to reach new frontiers. Dreaming and hard work is what pushes us toward the impossible. #SpaceX #Perseverance #Innovation #Leadership #SpaceExploration #PolarisDawn #NeverGiveUp
