Morning thought!!! Think back to when you were starting out in the workforce... Parents kicked you off the payroll and you had to adult. Too old to be on mommies benefits plan anymore and your new employers benefits offerings felt like a life sentence they were so expensive. But benefits are a necessity .... So you elected in the worst plan offered and every 2 weeks you watched as your paycheck disintegrated. I vividly remember this. What I also remember is a few years later I moved companies. there was a key difference!!!! this company was offering amazing benefits at very low cost for me as an employee. I was astonished. I was getting a better medical plan for nearly half the price of my old companies plan. not only that I was getting mental , Physical and financial benefits offered to me. A FULL SUITE OF BENEFITS. At this point in my life I was a new dad and all I wanted was to provide love and support to my kid. These benefits made me feel secure ,They made me feel like I had a safety blanket for my family and I remember working harder for that company because of how grateful I was that they cared enough to not only offer these benefits but contribute handsomely towards them. Its a form of cultivating culture. Why do I bring this up ?? Well I now work for a company where I get to help businesses make this same difference I experienced personally with their employees.
