The organization of the ITB really seems to have become a comedy of errors in recent years. If I had a dime for every time someone mentioned the smoothexperienceof attending the fair, I would be rich enough to never have to set foot at that event again. Two consecutive years where, instead of networking, what we had was a true parade of disasters!Airport closures? Strikes? And to top it all off, rushing out on the last day due to a train strike? Seriously, can someone explain how this is considered organization? It seems that all the unions came together in a joint effort to ensure that the ITB became the biggest stress of your life, wonder: where did I go wrong? And now, after so many promises of an incredible event, the only thing that remains is frustration and the feeling that we are all at the mercy of an invisible force that seems to enjoy watching us rush to avoid missing our flights.A change of focus was necessary, and I lament that the institutions in Germany have so little power to prevent these fiascos. So, here is my official statement: "I will never go to this fair again!" And bring on 2024, because I am ready to explore new horizons where stress is not part of the package
