Mezmo presentation by CEO Tucker Callaway and principal solutions architect Bill Meyer at #AppDev Field Day just concluded. A few highlights: • Mezmo optimizes telemetry data (metrics, events, logs, and traces) in stream to make it more relevant, contextual, and efficient for #observability purposes. • It can also lets you automate the replacement of entire log files with metrics, sharply reducing data volume (∼75%-85% range). • Mezmo addresses a good deal of log coding, necessarily inconsistent and hard to manage, allowing coders to just “log everything” without worry about having to manage that potential for data bloat. The bloat never happens. Think of it as turning lakes’ (and lakes’) worth of #apptelemetry data into health-analytics-ready data.
