Hi everyone, My name is Scott Dukes. I'm the director of marketing at Itel. Just posted a new role on the team, which means I am back with another short and sweet and probably a little lame LinkedIn video today to talk about the role of Itel's first ever communications manager. So Itel works in the home insurance industry to fill knowledge gaps in the claims process, right? Really helping ensure kind of accurate settlements in a process filled with uncertainty. So when a storm comes through and damages. Your home, right, you're going to be faced with a lot of opinions about the best way to kind of get your home and your life back to normal, right? You're going to have an opinion. Your insurer is going to have an opinion initially. A roofer might knock on your house with an opinion. Your neighbor might have an opinion, right until I tell really exists to bring data, technology and expertise and kind of provide a trusted independent analysis. Of damage to to help settle claims fast, fair and frictionless. Now it's been growing fast for several years, been around for for over 30, but the past several years in particular, I've seen a lot of fast growth and and our marketing team is really growing as well. So 18 months ago, the marketing team was just one person, right? And this communications manager is going to bring the team to six people. So as with every other role, you know, I've shared this year really looking for someone to come in to, to both kind of build and own communications as a function at Itel. For the first time now, communications obviously means a lot of things at different companies, but some of the key areas of focus for this person will initially be thought leadership, right? Helping kind of define and broadcast the ITEL story, supporting executive speaking opportunities, overseeing our PR program, formalizing a catastrophe and customer comms program and and even supporting internal comms in in some capacity. Really a lot of different hats, a lot of different opportunity. So this person is really going to be a key player on the team, right? So, so as I start to look at candidates and, and find the right person for, for the role, right? Really looking for somebody who has good experience supporting and managing similar programs. Looking for someone who's a great storyteller, who's curious A-Team player, a bias toward action, right? And certainly as is the nature of kind of smaller marketing teams, somebody who's willing and excited about balancing both the strategy aspect of building these programs alongside the execution of those programs as well, right? Beyond that, a couple big pluses for me would be somebody who has, you know, worked in similar sized teams and kind of a wearing many hats kind of role, but also somebody maybe who's worked at a data company so or, or with companies that have data products and has experience weaving data into narratives and communications programs. That's all I've got. The job description kind of lays this out in more. Detail it'll be posted in the comments below. Really excited about the role. It comes with a ton of opportunity and a ton of visibility here at Itel and really looking forward to partnering with somebody as we build out some more formal communications programs that continue to elevate the message and the way that we tell the message as it relates to the story of Itel. Thanks very much. Let me know if you have any questions.
