First Quarter Down, a New Year to Go Get It! To the company that pushes me to level up every single day. Here's to you PEX! 💡 What’s the key to staying in business long enough to celebrate milestones like this? Why do I have such a big smile? 😄 😄 At our recent Trash Scouts holiday party, we celebrated something special: Sergio, our first employee to hit the 5-year mark! He’s been with us through every challenge and triumph, and it’s people like him who make milestones like this possible. When we started in 2017, we had no guarantees—just a vision and a lot of hard work ahead. Now, 7 years later, moments like this remind me how far we’ve come and how much there is still to achieve. For those just starting out or grinding through year one, here are some lessons that helped us get here: 1️⃣ Build a team you can count on. Hire people who share your values, work ethic, and vision for the business. Then, invest in them and let them know how much they matter. 2️⃣ Do the unglamorous work. Respond to the tough calls, fix problems right away, and show customers you care. 3️⃣ Start lean, grow smart. Don’t overspend in the beginning—focus on building sustainable momentum. 4️⃣ Always improve. From your service to your team, ask yourself, “How can this be better?” and make it happen. To Sergio and everyone on our team: thank you for believing in the journey. Here’s to even more milestones ahead!

2025: Building the Future Together – Wishing You a Year of Growth and Success 🎉

We’re a week into the new year and have reached the stage where our muscle memory kicks in so that saying and typing “2025” is now a breeze. 😅 To us, a new year represents all the possibilities of what we can make of the next 12 months. The preparations we focused on leading up to January have gotten us ready to move ahead with our plans for 2025 with ambition and determination.  What also helps get us into the right mindset for a new year? Here’s what the team had to share! ⬇️ 🙏 Approaching 2025 with gratitude for what we learned from 2024.  🔭 Viewing a new year as a fresh start and being ready to make the most of it. 💪 Making sure to spend time reflecting what went well last year and identifying opportunities for improvement.  🖼️ Selecting a word for the year and creating a vision board for it.  🫙 Starting a new tradition. Creating a jar of joy where a daily (or weekly) note will be added so that a catalog of wins can be celebrated at the end of 2025. What helps you seize the opportunities that a new year presents?
