New Roadrunner is increasingly becoming a carrier of choice for volume aggregating and transactional customers, predominantly 3PLs and freight forwarders. We’ve made it our strategic imperative to become the „easy button” for our shippers, redesigning the network, our operational modus operandi, and all back office processes. We’re leaning in hard into 3PL and freight forwarder vertical. It’s good business for us. To those that surround the 30,000. I’ve had the privilege of working with some wonderful folks over my 44 years in the Supply Chain (the “Transportation Industry” when I started out) business. Here’s the Readers Digest version. · McLean Trucking – 9-month training program where I learned just about everything you could. From Team driving in the Carolinas and West Virgina to managing terminals and leading sales teams. · Yellow Freight – Account Executives, Terminal Manager, Trainer, National and Corporate Accounts and Sales Leadership. · Holland – Primarily Sales Leadership · YRCF/ Yellow – Sales Development Mgr., Organizational Performance Manger and Sales Leadership. · Now Retired Okay, enough of that stuff. What this is really about are the 30,000 folks whose lives changed on July 31, 2023. I read 10,000 have found new chapters. I know we all are incredibly happy for them and their families.  This is not about placing blame. That won’t change or help the 20,000 good folks that haven’t started their new chapter. So with that backdrop I have one ask …………….. As “you” move through the holiday season, if you would think and pray that their new chapters start soon it would be appreciated. Heck, maybe you can hire a few. Yeah … I know that’s two asks. All the best to you and your families. May 2024 be the best year of your lives. Cheers!
