“Research has shown that LGBTQ+ people experience quite striking health inequalities”. The above quote is from The King's Fund's podcast on LGBTQIA+ health inequalities. When I found out that my colleague and friend, George Grammer-Taylor, is running the London Marathon next year in support of Terrence Higgins Trust, which aims to end HIV transmission in the UK by 2030, I was interested to learn more about the health disparities experienced by the LGBTQIA+ community. George's post is here: https://lnkd.in/eT2fPykZ You can also read my thoughts on HIV / AIDS and wider health inequalities faced by the LGBTQIA+ community here: https://lnkd.in/eATAWrKj #health #lgbtq #AIDSawareness
