Did you know that #bioplastics production is set to triple by 2028? 🌱 Current recycling systems are not prepared for this growth, and that's where MoeBIOS comes in. This Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking (CBE JU) -Funded Project, that ITENE coordinates, seeks to revolutionize the #recycling of bioplastics and tackle 🎯 the challenge of plastic pollution. We are developing and optimizing recycling methods for bioplastic waste, creating demonstrators based on these recycled materials, and assessing the #sustainability and #safety of the entire process.
