A friend of mine recently sent me this viral post: It made me think that while this quote holds true for now, AI will definitely replace our physical work someday. Think about it, a lot of things that are automated today, nobody could’ve imagined in the past. Of course AI replacing our physical work will take time - hardware is definitely not easy to build and only works when the software is equally good. Until then, why not just cherish doing our laundry and dishes while we can and use AI to get more efficient at work. We can spend the extra time off work on creating art. Because that’s one area AI can never compete with at least not until it experiences human suffering! #AI #tech

Are we ready for the next wave of technology? It's always something new. This time I am a believer that ML, LLM and generative AI will change our lives. As I mentioned in previous posts, what has transpired over the past 2 years with generative AI is nothing short of amazing. Creating new jobs in this new world will require people to learn new skills or skills otherwise thought of as people/sales skills in my opinion. So if you like building relationships, solving problems for your customers and being creative I think you'll be fine and there is no need to worry. A future AI-powered business landscape requires the ability to read new situations, build trusting relationships, create a compelling vision & stories, use empathy, use critical thinking skills and invent processes to adapt to a changing world. All things a robot can not do at the present. If your job is robotic, then you may want to start paying attention and or start looking for something new.
