In the book "Combatives for Tactical Operators," Ruben and I explained several principles. Training is learning or teaching the skills and behaviors needed for a particular job or activity. Practicing techniques that will be forgotten in two weeks is ineffective training. Ask your team to go to the ground, lay on their backs, and return to their feet while aiming their gun at a preselected target or “threat” during the movement.
