My Career Journey In Supply Chain Management. Last year a time like this I joined Angelica Medical Supplies Limited as a Logistics Intern and Today marks a whole year of undeniable growth and gratitude. As a self-driven and passionate Logistics & Supply chain professional, I take a lot pleasure in my field of work which encompasses procurement, supply, transport, logistics, clearing and forwarding. What fascinates me the most (and probably will awe you too) about this career path is the infinite field of innovations, opportunities and consistent learning and growth. For a young and youthful individual at cross-roads of a career option with a passion in business and generally understanding how the global world works in regard to how people acquire, utilize and dispose resources, then this is for you. Working in logistics and Procurement sets you up for a lot of adventure since it encompasses of both economic worlds which are, Corporate (procurement and contracting) & Fieldwork(transport/warehousing/clearing). A career like this is flexible, broad and accommodating especially if you are torn between what to specialize in, in terms of your strong suits, there is most definitely something for everyone. To me as an individual, the aspect of making the world a better place stands out the most. And so far, I can say I have had the pleasure of doing this, while working at Angelica Medical Supplies Limited as a logistics Intern. This experience has given me the opportunity to work in one of the most significant and diverse sectors in this age which is the health sector(indirectly). Some of our company’s core values that make me proud and happy to be part of this team are delivering Quality products (which results to providing quality health care), and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) which is a personal favorite since we are always trying to give back to the society and make the world a better place for everyone. What will surprise you is how I stumbled upon this course and as a result a Career by mere luck back in 2019 when I was doing my university selection (story for another day).
