I have tried quite a few at various times myself and have ended going back to wherever I started after sometime. Diets that aren’t sustainable to the long run at best make you lighter, feel nicer and provide an impetus to persist in the effort. Certain recommendations are hard to follow (weighing the portions you eat, special cooking methods etc) and eventually fail.🙅 With a 130+ weight, 40+ BMI and bordering on morbid obesity, surgical intervention was imminent. While that helped quite a bit, it took more than a year of hard work to lose nearly ➡️50kgs and maintaining it (+/- 2kgs) for the last 7 years.🏋️♂️ While I am not saying diets will never work, being mindful and aware of what you eat will help in good stead. My mantra would be to eat sensibly and exercise adequately.🥗 Essentials like ▶️smart watches, ▶️weighing scales that connect with apps and give you progressive data, ▶️ comfortable work out wear, ▶️resistance bands that build strength and such other accessories are great starting points.
