So you mean no other structures have stood for 2500 years. This is going back to BC era. After 2500 years we are all dead and gone. I am sure and respect all the the engineers and architects involved in building this Ram Temple are of high class, equivalent to those in the past. But their entities are not mentioned in the history of those temples, but who built is always emphasized. Can this Ram Temple, which will resist all natural calamities, will resist political agendas?. Why are these basic elements of structure being emphasized is also a question. Appears to be a political propaganda, overall. We have all donated, spontaneously or forcefully, but the credit is taken by only a group. By the ways, it also appears to have a more of a commercial approach rather than religious sanctity.

Advance of Southwest Monsoon:  Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of central Arabian Sea; most parts of Karnataka; some more parts of Maharashtra, Telangana & Coastal Andhra Pradesh; most parts of Westcentral Bay of Bengal and some more parts of Northwest Bay of Bengal.  Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into some more parts of central Arabian Sea, remaining parts of Karnataka & Coastal Andhra Pradesh, some more parts of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), Telangana, some parts of south Chhattisgarh & South Odisha, remaining parts of Westcentral & more parts of Northwest Bay of Bengal during next 3-4 days.

For every structural failure there has to be a technical reason for such kind of an event. If the pier sank, the reasons can be as follows: i. The bearing capacity of soil was insufficient. ii. Inadequate Geotechnical Investigation for suitable foundation design. iii. Scouring effect on the foundation, which can lead to differential settlement resulting to bridge failure.
