Excel vs. VDAT-AI in Chi-Square Test Analysis A chi-square test is a statistical test used to compare observed results with expected results. The purpose of this test is to determine if a difference between observed data and expected data is due to chance, or if it is due to a relationship between the variables you are studying. VDAT-AI is developed to accept up to 25 observed values making it a 5x5 contingency table for Chi-Square test analysis. VDAT-AI is programmed to automatically calculate the Expected values after filling the contingency table, unlike excel that requires some function calls to achieve same purpose. VDAT-AI automatically states the steps for Chi-Square value with tabulated data format for easy reading. VDAT-AI does not require prior knowledge of excel function to analyse Chi-Square value. Automated Chi-Square test value calculation has been achieved with VDAT-AI. This would help to mitigate common errors encountered during Chi-Square test analysis by Statisticians, Data Analysts and Students. We are coming up with further features associated to Chi-Square such as P-value and Critical values.
