When every image coming out of Midjourney has a slick veneer of mechanization, I crave the imperfect textures, the human hand of this collection; I turn to it often for serendipitous inspiration. Prompt: "Fly through tour of a museum with many paintings and sculptures and beautiful works of art in all styles." The AI-generated video seamlessly showcases a museum filled with an extensive collection of paintings and sculptures, drifting through different views and scales, hinting at a near future where users will be able to prompt full-length videos. How many images do you think Sora can generate in 60 seconds?

Both use x-rays to see inside something or someone without having to open up the object or person. #Educators this great #MetKids video from The Metropolitan Museum of Art is an easy and engaging way to introduce students to the ways #museum staff use x-rays with #art. The intersection of art and science also demonstrates to students that no subject operates on its own. Art is affected by all the other subjects and the other subjects are affected by art.
