A server was clearing plates at a 4-star restaurant. He overheard the table talking: "what an amazing trip! We've been to all the best restaurants! The only thing we didn't get to try was a NYC hotdog." The server walked calmly back into the kitchen, dropped off the plates, then sprinted outside to the hotdog stand, and returned to the table: "To make sure you don't go home with any culinary regrets, a NYC hotdog." The table freaked out. 🤯 ^I love this story from Will Guidara, who wrote "Unreasonable Hospitality," along with his tips when serving others: 1. Be present.  2. Take what you do seriously, without taking yourself too seriously. (A hotdog at a 4-star restaurant is sacrilegious, but look at how it made them feel!) "If you start to look closely enough, you will find opportunities to give people more than they could ever possibly expect all around you. It just requires caring a little bit more and trying a little bit harder." So well said.
