The best way to get students engaged in how fantastic our industry can be is through what I like to call "experiential learning." Today, we had the pleasure to visit the J Alexanders in Boca Raton with their General Manager, Mike Pelotte and the team. As you'll see in the photos, Instructor Gregory T. Bohan had them do a full restaurant tour including kitchen, front of house, and other back of house procedures. By living a "day in the life" in one of the highest rated brands in America, the students can easily see what future career opportunities exist in the restaurant sector.
