Last weekend, Kyle Cichos, PHD and Libby Carlino, MD (Jack Hughston Memorial Hospital Resident) presented their research at the 34th Annual Musculoskeletal Infection Society Meeting in Durham, NC. Drs. Cichos and Carlino presented both a podium presentation and poster presentation on "Optimal Duration of Antibiotic Holiday Prior to Reimplantation in Two-Stage Exchange Arthroplasty for Periprosthetic Joint Infection" and "Intrawound Antiseptics Do Not Decrease the Risk of Periprosthetic Joint Infection Following Primary Arthroplasty for Femoral Neck Fracture". Hughston's research continues to be a leader in the prevention of infections in orthopaedic surgery and improvement of outcomes for patients who unfortunately develop infection. Our research is presented among other world leaders on the topic, striving to lead the way in innovation and patient care. #medicine #research #orthopedics

This educational course, led by Lenny Parracino, CMT, FAFS, will help clinicians discover an individualized approach to evaluating joint motion and soft tissue impairments, how to identify abnormal tensions and how to establish a follow-up treatment plan for each patient.
