If you've heard me speak at a seminar, are my client, or if you've been lucky enough to meet me at one of the networking events I go to, you've heard me say this statement: we are dynamic beings. It is TRUE! Our health is a reflection of everything we are. It's not just the physical and chemical reactions that take place inside our cells and then ripple throughout our body (while all of this is just as important). We are integrated with our minds, body, and our spirit. Our beliefs make a difference. Our environment whether it's at home, work, family, friends, all matter. Each of those (body, mind, spirit) is a piece of what makes us unique, and is the quintessential essence of what makes you you. If one of those pieces is out of balance, your health is going to reflect it. You can eat the best diet in the world, but if you're stressed because of things racing in your mind, you will not be able to absorb the nutrients from your meal and your organs and cells will pay the price for it. If you believe that everything bad happens to you, then yes, you will have everything bad happen to you. The body can not run well without the focus of the mind, and the clarity of the spirit. That is why when you start your health journey, yes, you will start in one area first. It would pretty overwhelming to start in multiple places. As you continue on your journey, and reach one goal after another, the focus will sometimes change direction to seek out one of the three pieces of you (body, mind, spirit) but it's always seeking to improve and change towards who you were meant to be. You do not live in a vacuum. You are a very DYNAMIC BEING. Embrace every facet of you (even the not so great stuff), and say, I'm going to work through this because I AM WORTH IT! You're future you will thank you for it. Go out and Be Extraordinary! Why? Because YOU ARE! You've got this 💪👊 #compasshealthcoachingllc #navigateyourwaytoahealthieryou #healthcoach #wellnesscoach #functionalmedicine #inspirechange #healthjourney #wellessjourney #healing #mindbodyspirit #mindbodyconnection #carlislepa

Alignment… Essential for your health and well being as well as those who share space with you in this world. I am focused on something I shared a few years ago… “Your actions are speaking so loudly, I can’t hear you.” These are my personal thoughts. ❤️#alignment #aimforalignment

Ever wonder why some habits stick while others don’t? Let’s break it down! The Habit Loop consists of three parts: 1️⃣ Cue: The trigger that starts the habit. It could be a time of day, an emotion, or a specific situation. 2️⃣ Routine: The habitual action you take. This is the behavior itself, whether it’s grabbing a snack, checking your phone, or going for a run. 3️⃣ Reward: The benefit you get from the routine. This reinforces the habit and makes you more likely to do it again. By identifying each component, you can start to manipulate and change your habits. Regularly reviewing your habit loops can lead to more effective and positive behaviors. 💪 Ready to take control of your habits? 🌟 Health and relationships are two pillars of our well-being that intertwine in profound ways, impacting our overall happiness and success. Here are some reflections based on my experiences and observations: - Just as we prioritize our physical health with exercise and nutritious food, we must invest time and effort into nurturing our relationships. - Good communication is the heartbeat of healthy relationships, fostering understanding, empathy, and mutual respect. - Remember that self-care is not selfish but essential for maintaining the energy and balance needed to show up fully for those we love. - Building trust takes time and consistency, so be patient and intentional in your actions. - In times of conflict, seek to understand before being understood, approaching discussions with an open heart and mind. - Cultivate gratitude for the people who support you through thick and thin, expressing your appreciation regularly. - Boundaries are crucial in both health and relationships, ensuring that you prioritize your well-being while respecting the autonomy of others. - As we navigate the complexities of modern life, let's not forget the simple yet powerful impact of a kind word, a listening ear, or a warm embrace. Let's strive to strengthen our connections and foster a culture of care and compassion in both our personal and professional spheres. How do you prioritize your health and relationships in your daily life? Share your thoughts below! 💫 #HealthAndRelationships #WellnessJourney #ConnectionIsKey

Mindfulness and Stress Reduction with 10 Tips Try these #tips to reduce stress fast. 1. Count to 10 before you speak or react. 2. Take a few slow, deep #breaths until you feel your #body #relax a bit. 3. Go for a #walk, even if it’s just to the restroom and back. It can help break the tension and give you a chance to think things through. 4. Try a quick #meditation or #prayer to get some #perspective. 5. If it’s not urgent, #sleep on it and respond tomorrow. This works well for #stressful emails and social media trolls. 6. Walk away from the situation for a while, and handle it later once things have #calmed down. 7. Break down big problems into smaller parts. Take one step at a time instead of trying to tackle everything at once. 8. #Chill out with #music or an #inspirational #podcast to help you rage less on the road. 9. Take a break to #pet a dog, #hug a #loved one or help someone. 10. Work out or do something #active. #Exercise is one of the best antidotes for #stress.
