Can’t believe summer is nearly over. Can believe I’m not returning to school this September. Here are 7 things I’d tell my younger self if I was just starting post-secondary: 1. Balance your investment of time (e.g., academics, extracurriculars, health, people, work, etc.) 2. Go to events you wouldn’t normally attend to meet new people 3. Start more conversations 4. Lean into curiosity to learn from your peers and professors 5. Step away from routine to foster serendipity 6. Experiment with personal projects (e.g., newsletters, social media pages, short films, etc.) 7. Explore activities and enjoy life (e.g., hobbies, volunteering, etc.)
