Campaigning for both the Federal and WA state elections is increasing and will soon take up a major proportion of media coverage in Australia. Before that coverage increases I thought I’d share a resource I use to help determine who to vote for. ‘They vote for you’ is a website which tracks the voting behaviour of federal members for the Australian parliament. The website groups MP's voting behaviour into policy categories, determining their stance on policy issues. The site also includes annotations (in simple English) of parliamentary bills, even whether your MP turns up at all! Although its not 100% perfect, it can give you an overview of the decisions your currently elected MP has made, allowing you to form your opinion based on fact rather than the current news-cycle. So before the fight for votes starts this election cycle, take a moment to check what your federal MP has been up to these last 4 years, and make sure that who you vote for aligns with your values and beliefs. https://lnkd.in/gm2fV-JV #election
