I am so grateful for the opportunity we had bringing the North Dakota Rough Rider Network (Cibolo Health) together to share AWV and Care Management strategies and best practices. Hearing the lived experiences directly from our partner panels was a great compliment to the CVS ACO education sessions. Last summer LOST RIVERS MEDICAL CENTER had a PBS film crew on-site to film a documentary titled “Healthcare in Nowhere” for their Life on the Line series. It was released today and highlights the innovative work and solutions that CEO Brad Huerta and his amazing team focus on to turn the hospital around in the face of rural/frontier healthcare challenges. I have been so lucky to work with this group (including the fabulous Madeline Russell, MBA, Robin Mangan, and Kristy Unruh) and have seen first hand how they #RiseToTheChallenge and bring a team based, can-do approach to solutioning in our ACO/VBC work.
