Pediatric Orthoses👏🏼 These are some examples of custom fabricated thermoplastic orthoses for our pediatric population. The first example is of a forearm based wrist support with MCPs free for a distal radius fracture. . The second example shown is a hand based radial gutter with IPs included for 2nd and 3rd non displaced metacarpal shaft fractures. Per the doctor’s orders, this patient did not require immobilization of the wrist and a hand based radial gutter was sufficient.
