#IndustryTrends: What Stable Hotel Supply Growth Means for Niche Hospitality A recent report by Skift discusses the stable growth of hotel supply through 2026. While the traditional hotel market sees steady expansion, this trend underscores the growing opportunity and demand for unique, niche hospitality experiences—like glamping. At Timberline Glamping Jupiter, we see this as validation of the evolving preferences of travelers who are increasingly seeking more personalized, nature-connected experiences rather than conventional stays. As the hotel industry grows, so does the demand for alternatives that offer something different, something memorable. Our glamping experiences provide guests with the comfort of modern amenities while immersing them in the beauty of nature—a combination that hotels simply can't replicate. As the market stabilizes, we’re excited to continue offering a distinctive escape that stands out in the crowded hospitality landscape. For those interested in learning more about how the hotel industry’s growth might influence alternative accommodations, check out the full article: https://loom.ly/dPlWEAg #TimberlineGlampingJupiter #HospitalityTrends #Glamping #AlternativeAccommodations #TravelIndustry #NatureExperiences

Houston hotel market continues to show gradual but upward demand growth. Greater Houston's occupancy for year-to-date May 2024 hit 63.3%, up by 2.3% from the same time last year. ADR growth saw a slowdown but still went up by 3.0% to $119.35, leading to a 5.3% growth in RevPAR. Limited expectation of new supply coming in this year, should support these positive trends for the remainder of the year. Lodging performance was strong in the month of May, boosted by the OTC conference and the intense windstorm. According to Houston First, all hotel categories reflected solid growth, particularly upper upscale and midscale hotels, which saw occupancy rise by 13.5% and 13%, respectively. Increased interest in travel among affluent travelers was reflected in the growth in luxury, upper upscale, and upscale hotels. Economy and Midscale hotels also grew significantly, with demand up by over 10%, indicating a broad resurgence in travel across economic segments.
