Nobody will remember: - How busy you were - How many hours you worked - How many followers you have on Social Media - How many awards you received - How many titles or positions you held Everyone will remember: - How you show kindness and generosity - How you celebrate the success of others - How you acted during challenging times - If you demonstrated integrity - Whether or not they can count on you - Those super cool shoes you wore to the all-employee retreat (probably)

Happy Admin Professionals Month! 🎉 I don't know about you, but I find it challenging to receive recognition for my work. Being recognized on Admin Professionals Day has always felt a bit awkward to me. How do you prefer your executive and team to recognize you? Is receiving a bouquet of flowers a nice gesture, or do you think it's a bit overdone? Do you remind your executive about Admin Professionals Day approaching? How can we make this little day of recognition better? Share your thoughts in the comments 👇

A quick shoutout to our awesome people, who are THE reason Newsweek has recognized us as a Most Loved Workplace! You’re the ones who make this place what it is, and that’s why this award means so much to us. But it’s not just about the recognition - it’s about keeping that energy alive every single day. So, how do we keep it going? It all starts with bringing on great people who fit our culture, add something to it, and most of all, bring so much passion to what they do. Celebrating wins, big or small, is key, and there’s always space for sharing ideas and learning from each other. The goal is to create a place where everyone feels like they belong and can grow. Here’s to our amazing team - you’re the reason this place rocks! Most Loved Workplaces® Best Practice Institute

There's a difference between a boss and a leader. A boss basically takes advantage of you and micro manage everything you do because he always wants to be in control ( They are control freaks and power intoxicated). While a leader would lead and guide you on how to be better on your own . They teach you how to become expert on the job and give you a freewill to excel outside the job.
A good manager can change your life. They : - Defend you - Promote you - Encourage you And they genuinely care about the people they lead. Great managers understand that employees perform better when they feel supported. I’m grateful for every supportive manager I’ve had. Their impact will always be remembered. ♻️ Adam Grant P.S. - I am building a newsletter that explores how we can live fulfilled lives fueled by our passions. 🌟 One thing I’ve learned in the past few weeks is that recognition goes a long way. Whether it’s a simple thank you or a public shoutout, showing appreciation can have a huge impact on morale and motivation. In today’s fast-paced work environment, it’s easy to overlook the small wins. But those moments of acknowledgment can make all the difference in building a positive company culture. Take a minute to celebrate your team's achievements today—it matters more than you think! 🙌

☕ Taking a moment to enjoy my coffee, rusk in hand, and reflect... I recently noticed a post on LinkedIn where a company celebrated an employee’s long service award—a well-deserved shoutout! But... out of 43 comments, only 3 were positive; the rest were filled with complaints and assumptions. Imagine how proud that employee must feel, seeing their photo featured for a milestone achievement! Yet, so often, negativity drowns out these moments of recognition. So here’s a challenge: let’s live in the moment, see the good in people, celebrate achievements, and recognize the positives around us. It's easy to be critical, but it takes true courage to uplift and encourage each other. 😊 One smile at a time, we can make a difference. Let's build each other up and remember: together, we can make life better. #Positivity #CelebrateSuccess #Gratitude #TogetherWeThrive #LinkedInCommunity

Appreciation and recognition costs us practically nothing, but a bit of our time. I’ve learnt this over the years and continue to see the magic when I put this wisdom into practice. There are so many ways we can show appreciation to our stakeholders and here are a few to get you started if you haven’t already: - Write them a personal text or email - Drop an email to their manager, copying him / her / them to express what they did well or how they helped you and the business - Take them out for coffee or lunch - Use formal company channels like nominating them for awards - Say a warm and genuine “thank you” for their patience, kindness and support So go ahead and make someone’s day! #randommusings #buildingrelationships #appreciation #recognition #stakeholdermanagement #simplegestures

Y'all voted and let me know that everyone wants to learn more about working at Hugging Face, so let's start by talking about one of the reasons WHY we are one of the Best Places to Work 🤗 We communicate differently. Typically, companies manage their external messaging through a select few in the C-suite, aiming for a tightly controlled narrative. At Hugging Face, we've literally flipped that idea upside down. We empower every team member to share openly and publicly, drawing on their unique areas of expertise. Our founders are aware of their strengths (Julien, for example, has exquisite taste in couches), but also acknowledge they're not experts in everything. Not only does this allow us to showcase and celebrate the wins and contributions of every team member but it is also an inherently inclusive approach that supports inputs from varied backgrounds and identities. As Brigitte aptly put it, "our impact is driven by a diversity of voices." When we really listen to and appreciate everyone's input, we make our community stronger and more innovative. This inclusive, open communication culture is one of the aspects I'm most proud of at Hugging Face 🤗
We didn't need the award to know but we won't complain! If you're thinking of a change this year, you know where to apply 🤗🤗🤗

Before the end of Q2, I want to hurry up with the news from the previous quarter. I was honored to be named the Marketing Team’s Key Player of Q1! Screenshot with my grateful, happy face, eagerly awaiting this post for almost 3 months 😁 🎉 This recognition has truly inspired me, and it got me thinking about the power of appreciation. Our recent launch of the internal recognition hub really highlighted how important it is to foster motivation and a positive culture among the team. Creating a culture of recognition isn’t just a checkbox for the Employer Brand; it’s an integral part of a thriving team where everyone benefits: ✔ The company gains a high-performing, loyal workforce. ✔ Team experiences a boost in motivation and job satisfaction. So, here’s a little reminder for all of us: don’t wait until the end of a project to give props. Celebrate those small wins too!
