A fresh review of the new amendments to the Romanian legislation on public-private partnerships (PPP), which entered into force earlier this year. These amendments were drafted by Tuca Zbarcea & Asociatii and IFC - International Finance Corporation, part of the World Bank Group, acting as legal and financial advisors to the Romanian Government and the Romanian Ministry of Finance. Some meaningful insights: 🔴 Identity of the parties to the PPP contract; 🔴 Share of the public partner’s contribution to the financing of the project; 🔴 Financing of municipal PPP projects; 🔴 Resolution of the disputes arising from PPP contracts.
