I wanted to talk to you guys today about the importance of ongoing education. Notice I did not say the importance of ongoing schooling. Don't let your schooling get in the way of your education. Especially today, Ongoing learning has many benefits. We all hear sayings like it's important to learn something new every single day, and yet the average person, according to stats, reads only one or two books their entire lifetime once they're done their highest level of schooling, which is insane. Yet learning new things is often done through reading a course. Along with listening and writing. It helps improve your communication skills. The more that you learn is going to better equip you. It's going to be better to prepare you so that you actually can be more confident in life as well. High intensity mental activities like reading, playing music, listening intently, writing, etcetera, those are things that's going to help with your cognitive abilities as well. It's going to reduce things like or push back at least things like dementia, things like Alzheimer's, because it's going to increase the plasticity of your brain. So there's many, many benefits besides just learning something new, even that ongoing education is going to benefit you with.
