Kaizen is often seen as the cornerstone of organisational excellence... the building block of all lean manufacturing projects. The goal is to pinpoint and resolve issues at the source whilst creating and maintaining a culture of collaboration. This is a process of discipline, implementing practical ways of setting goals, implementing actions, monitoring results and adjusting to ensure that even the smallest activities make a positive change of improvement... such as supporting the cycle of plan-do-check-act (PDCA). We understand that sometimes all you need is a top-up or refresh on selected knowledge, which is why we have split our Accelerated Route to Lean Manufacturing into bite-size topics that provide practical insights and examples that make a massive difference to your organisation. 🕤 1-Day workshop - 9.00 am to 4.00 pm. 🏆 £395 +VAT per delegate. In the world of process improvement, two key concepts play a crucial role: Kaizen and Poka Yoke. Kaizen, the practice of continuous improvement, focuses on making small, incremental enhancements to processes and systems over time. It's a long-term strategy that empowers organizations to constantly evolve for the better. On the other hand, Poka Yoke, or mistake-proofing, aims to prevent errors from occurring by designing processes and systems to make mistakes impossible or easily detectable. It's a short-term tactic that ensures immediate error prevention. By integrating Kaizen and Poka Yoke into our organizational framework, we can foster a culture of continuous improvement while building systems that minimize the occurrence of errors. How have you implemented these principles in your organization? #ContinuousImprovement #Kaizen #PokaYoke #ProcessImprovement #LeanManufacturing"

What is Kaizen?(Continuous Improvemnet) Kaizen is an approach to creating continuous improvement based on the idea that small, ongoing positive changes can reap significant improvements. Typically, it is based on cooperation and commitment and stands in contrast to approaches that use radical or top-down changes to achieve transformation. Kaizen is core to lean manufacturing and the Toyota Way. It was developed in the manufacturing sector to lower defects, eliminate waste, boost productivity, encourage worker purpose and accountability and promote innovation. #Kaizen #LeanManfacuring
