Three key takeaways from my experience working at 1st Phorm International: 1. Demonstrating consistent results earns trust among colleagues, establishing credibility across various domains. 2. Your personal and professional personas are intertwined; you consistently represent the company and brand, regardless of the context. 3. Understanding the unique motivations of team members is instrumental in fostering team success. Understanding the motivations of each team member, regardless of the team you're assigned to, is crucial for achieving overall team success. #IHopeYouWinToday

Life without work & interactions, engagements & involvements, discussions & debates is pointless and narrow. Wide perspective creates only when people meet people with a collaborative approach. We practice this participatory method in our every day life at CPDL. Happy team work.

Did you know GGC can host hundreds of players at once? Yesterday, we heard a familiar sentiment from a potential customer; it went something like this: "I didn't even realize I could host a team building event for more than 30 people." GGC is unique because we can host very large groups--hundreds or thousands of challengers at once--and still deliver an experience that makes each participant the protagonist in their story. Stop excluding members of your team and instead plan an outing with GGC that actually involves your whole team. Be that your function, department, or even your entire company! What if a colleague needs help in achieving his or her goals? Here's what you do: I remember when I was about to start my professional journey in #CIPM, a good friend of mine Amira Dorcas really geared me towards it with profound force, infact, she was the one who took the makeshift passport photo I used for my photo card. She always listened to me intently if I had any concerns and would always provide solutions to any of the problems I might be facing. She listened with an intent to help and I was always certain I would get the help I needed if I shared my concerns with her. If a colleague needs guidance in achieving their goals, you can offer support by actively listening to their concerns, providing constructive feedback, sharing relevant resources or experiences, and offering to help them create a plan of action. It's important to be supportive, encouraging, and respectful of their goals and individual journey.

When you’re delivering DE&I training: ❌ DON’T piggyback off social awareness events or host one-off company seminars with no follow-up Not only does this have little-to-no effect on the actual behaviour of your people, but virtue signalling with awareness events can make it seem insincere. Instead: ✅ DO implement a genuine initiative that includes bias training, anonymous feedback, continuous engagement and diversity audits. This way, your people can embrace shared values while engaging in honest communication. Bias training allows you to promote more empathy across your team, making a more inclusive future for everyone. If a DE&I initiative is something you’re looking to build, we have a range of programmes and delivery methods that can help you get your team onboard. ALX Certified Virtual Assistant| Customer Service Representative| MasterCard Foundation Scholar Alumnus@CAMFED| Administrative Assistant | Personal Development Enthusiast| Women Empowerment Enthusiast |
From Juggling Deadlines to Mastering Skills: My ALX Aice Journey Amidst the chaos of a demanding 9-5 job, I embarked on the transformative ALX Aice cohort 2 course. The journey wasn't without its hurdles. Balancing the demands of a full-time job(National Service) as an Administrative Secretary and Personal Assistant to the National Director of GHAFES with the rigors of the ALX Aice curriculum tested my resolve and pushed me beyond my comfort zone. Yet, with unwavering determination and perseverance, I persevered, each obstacle a testament to my resilience. Despite the whirlwind, I honed skills like time management, meeting deadlines, mastering Google Workspace, loom, ChatGPT, etc. The ALX AiCE course wasn't merely about mastering tools; it was also about understanding myself better—identifying strengths to amplify and weaknesses to fortify. The course challenged me to confront my limitations head-on, transforming them into stepping stones towards personal and professional growth. As the course concluded, I emerged equipped with invaluable skills and a mindset for success. Excited to share that I recently completed my application for ALX's Virtual Assistant course and can't wait to share my success journey with you all. #ALXAice # Professional Development #Personal development
