Believe me when I say it’s consistently one of the most overlooked steps. One of the many tips we give to our candidates is to make sure they are fully prepared for an interview – this entails conducting research! 🔍 Knowing what to expect when you are stepping into an interview setting is one of the best ways to reduce stress, and ensure you can highlight your skills and experience to the best of your ability ✔ By taking the time to do your own investigating, you will confidently be able to answer specific questions, and display your proactivity and passion for the role at hand. What should you be researching before an interview?: 🔸 The role – What are they looking for? How can you be successful in the position? 🔸 Services within the organisation - What is it that they do? Who is their client base? What departments do they have? 🔸 Company values - What are they, and how do you and your experience reflect these? 🔸 Vision and business plan – What are they aiming towards and how can you aid in their strategic goals? 🔸 History – When were they created? What are the key moments in their history? 🔸 News – What are the latest updates within the organisation – could this be a talking point? 💡 Remember: When providing answers in an interview you should always use examples – and research helps with that!
