Luxury Hurricane Glazing Consultant Bringing Value to Architects, Builders and Owners by Streamlining Product Selection and Detail Coordination
2nd Floor beam detail at sliding doors - THIS IS A PROBLEM! Sliding door sills from 2-1/2" to 3-1/2" with no recess will be sitting on top of the beam and will be 1-2" above your interior flooring if 1-1/2", more if thinner flooring is used. Window companies don't check the structurals so this is on the GC Project Manager to catch and compensate for usually after the doors are installed. What's your ceiling transition to the interior window and door frames? What's the exterior finish detail? I help by providing another set of eyes with specific expertise in looking for these potential problems and coordinating Architecturals, Structurals, and window and door specific details to finishes. #construction #architecture #design #luxurymiamirealestate #caribbeanrealestate #miamirealestate #luxurydesign #luxuryarchitecture #windowsanddoors #architecturedesign #coastalhomes #builders #beachhomes #coastalliving #designers #luxuryhomes #architectureanddesign #contemporarydesign #architecturelovers

The Contruss system's beamless slab design, achieved by eliminating dropped beams and panels, opens up space for interior design. This streamlined approach offers architects enhanced flexibility to create spacious, open environments. Without beams, the system allows seamless integration of design elements, furnishings, and finishes, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Additionally, the absence of beams simplifies HVAC and mechanical system implementation, providing flexibility for routing components and optimizing space utilization within the building. hashtag #ContrussSystem #BeamlessDesign #InteriorSpace #ArchitecturalFlexibility #StreamlinedConstruction #HVACIntegration #MechanicalSystems #EfficientDesign #FunctionalSpaces #AestheticIntegration

Transforming Premium Projects with Innovative System Windows | Soundproof, High-Rise, Custom Solutions | Founder of Mockup Windows 🏢🌟 #MakeInIndia
MOCKUP FLAT BOTTOM SYSTEMWindows with a flat bottom system refer to a specific design feature in window architecture where the window sill or bottom edge is designed to be flat and level, rather than sloped or angled. This design choice is often seen in modern and contemporary architecture, where clean lines and minimalistic aesthetics are prioritized. One of the main advantages of windows with flat bottom systems is their functionality for interior use. The flat sill provides a stable surface that can be utilized for placing objects such as potted plants, decorative items, or even as an additional seating area. This can enhance the usability of the space around the window and create opportunities for creative interior design. From an exterior perspective, windows with flat bottom systems can contribute to the overall sleek and streamlined appearance of a building. They often complement modern architectural styles that emphasize simplicity and geometric shapes. Additionally, these windows can be easier to clean and maintain compared to windows with sloped sills, as dirt and debris are less likely to accumulate on a flat surface. Overall, windows with flat bottom systems combine functionality with contemporary design, offering both practical benefits and aesthetic appeal in modern architectural settings.

Rear design of Project Delaware, a more modern transition from the front façade. This design continues the brick motif from the front of the home and introduces floor to ceiling slider & windows, a modern flat roof detail in ACM panels, wood slats & a raised seam metal roof. What do you think? 💬 More elements we love about this design include the large deck, glass railings & square dormer for a symmetrical modern feel. #customhome #customhomedesign #dreamhome #modernhomedesign #moderncustomhome #architecturaldesign #modernarchitecture #modernhomes #newbuildhome #luxuryhomedesign #homedesign #canadiandreamhomes #luxuryrealestate #modernrealestate #moderndreamhome #realestatedevelopment #gtacustomhomes #gtamodernhomes #moderndesign #transitionaldesign #transitional #cityhome #citylife

Remodeling in Construction?? Remodeling is defined as altering a structure, whether this alteration is exterior or interior, from the original construction. Some examples of remodeling are, but are not limited to: Completely transforming the structure and/or style of any space, home, or building. Changing the layout, in part or in whole, of any space, room, or garage area from the original floor plan. Combining rooms or other spaces within a structure that were once separated by a wall or any other sort of permanent partition. Adding or taking away from the exterior and/or interior of any structure. When one is planning a remodeling project, one should understand that it can involve complex design considerations, causing the need to hire or consult an experienced and licensed building contractor and architect before beginning any remodeling project. Remodeling projects need to be done right the first time because if you have to go back and fix any flaws in the design, it can become very costly. -Sultana #remodeling #renovation #remodel #construction #interiordesign #homeimprovement #contractor #design #home #homerenovation #homedecor #architecture #homedesign #homeremodeling #realestate #flooring #kitchen #kitchendesign #kitchenremodel #bathroomremodel #renovations #homeremodel #bathroom #interior #builder #building #carpentry #generalcontractor #house #tile

There are many distinct features in this home design, from the slate roof trimmed in Douglas Fir to the cobblestone drive, and participants are continually rewarded with thoughtful and thought-provoking design ideas. Custom pieces abound, like the iron mounting brackets for copper gas lanterns. Custom iron handrails repeat the one-of-a-kind craftsmanship. Persian-inspired scalloped doorways and a turret entry and foyer with a copper leaf roof and custom spire reflect the roots and delights of our client. A parlor with stained oak wainscoting just off the foyer whispers hints of this intentional architectural design. Half-timber detailing on the exterior is matched in cedar purlins, vaulted ceilings, and exposed timber beams in the interior design. Twenty-foot-tall leaded glass windows allow for an abundance of natural light and inspiring views of the golf course and lake. Cedar shiplap siding, brick, and stone veneer on exterior walls work together beautifully to create an interesting façade.
