Sales in the moving industry isn't your typical sales job. It's a rollercoaster ride that gets real personal real quick...... Veterans in the game understand it's not just about booking moves—it's about connecting with folks on a real level. We're not just salespeople; we're a shoulder-to-lean-on. Whether someone is starting a new chapter with a baby on the way and keys to their first home or they're going through a nasty divorce. From bittersweet farewells as kids fly the nest to someone simply needing a change. At the same time, we're in sales. We hustle hard. We tackle objections head-on with an old-school persistence while not crossing the line of being pushy. It's about proving our worth, building trust, and making sure folks feel solid about their move. Every moving company's got its own style, its own story. So, what's yours? What's the down-to-earth touch that makes clients stick with you through thick and thin? Let's swap some stories.
You describe this well! I recognize this from our work with work permits, it’s not just a complex administrative matter, we make dreams come true. It’s life changing for the people who are able to move and create a new beginning!
I 100% agree with that. I look at so much of these other guys who are over complicating the sales process when in fact if you focus on building the rapport the sale will come to you. If anyone interested in Sales training or more please visit www.macksmovingtraining.com

5moSimple: finding and understanding the customers “why”. Creating a moving program that fits their specific needs based on that “why”. There’s not much selling when you check the customers boxes and lead with empathy. Also, lead with options rather than price and dates.
