How do you feel about your company’s culture and policies supporting people as they go through major events in their lives? I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this topic. The last few weeks have been really busy. A trip to India coupled with a few deadlines have kept me on my toes. This weekend I got the chance for a couple of good bike rides, enjoying the start of autumn. That and some time with my children and I feel recharged. It's Mental Health Awareness Week. Remember to take time when you can to look after yourself and those around you.

Reflecting on our journey towards greater equity and diversity at work, it's truly inspiring to see how far we've come.Take Edith McGregor of Newark, New Jersey, for example—MetLife's first female agent! In 1881, Edith took over her husband's MetLife account when he fell ill, breaking barriers in a world dominated by 1,600 male agents across 50 district offices. Her trailblazing legacy opened doors for women in the industry, forever changing the landscape of the insurance world. Let's celebrate these milestones and continue to push for progress!

I'm back at work tomorrow after two weeks of time off with my family. It's a little different to my usual routine (definitely more picnics, discussions on worms & sunshine). It has been great to unwind and now I'm looking forward to catching up on all that's happened and all the new ideas.

I'm delighted to announce that Daniela Baglioni is stepping up to a fantastic, expanded role and joining the Actuarial Modeling Leadership Team in MetLife! 🌟 A huge congrats on the promotion, Dani! You're going to excel the Modeling Leader for Latam as well as continuing as the Head of Metrics Center of Excellence and Regional Actuarial Coordination for Latam. I have no doubt you'll bring the same passion and skill to overseeing modeling for the region as you have shown to your current role. Here's to your continued success and to the whole team's success! 🚀🎈
