Food Topic Aug 20: Intake, cigarettes An easy way to stop smoking is by repleting amino acids, using L-tyrosine and L- phenylalanine. A few months of that and a conscious effort is all that is needed not to smoke. These amino acids are the willpower to not smoke. After you are replete, it is easy not to smoke. Then you can smoke with a plan like, “In 6 months I will have a cigarette with my friends”. At this point, the control to do this is in the amino acid repletion. During this time if you think you want to smoke then replete amino acids. I think of wanting to smoke as a need for repletion. Further, when you want to make a plan to smoke, it can be helpful to think of this as a need to replete amino acids. Because I do not smoke, To an extent, non-social urges to make a plan for smoking later this year is a sign of amino acid depletion. If you want to make a plan then get replete. I think not smoking should be effortless, but eventually, you have to decide whether to spend the money on amino acids or not. Here are some Canadian products at Amazon, which I buy. Interesting recall strikes at the heart of the US supplement/drug industries. We know that #Pharmaceutical companies must fully disclose all ingredients in their #drugs to regulatory authorities like the FDA and #EMA, ensuring safety and efficacy. In contrast, dietary supplements can use "proprietary blends" without specifying exact ingredient amounts. This raises critical questions for the US #Hemp industry, especially as it synthesizes 'natural' #cannabinoids like ∆8 from #CBD using chemicals. Why aren't we regulating how and where these ingredients are made? Consider Florida's initiative to require all hemp processing facilities to meet food safety and sanitation standards. Does this apply to the entire supply chain entering #Floridahemp market, or just Florida-based products? #Coloradohemp is pursuing a similar path, but how will Florida monitor and define compliance with these standards? Moreover, does "processing" include extraction and refinement? I think these are key points we must address to ensure safety and transparency in the industry. Pharmaceutical Requirements: • Regulatory: Full ingredient disclosure is mandatory for drug approval. • Labeling: Labels must clearly list all active ingredients and their concentrations. • Protection: Companies can protect formulations with patents but not by hiding ingredients. Excited to share my latest article on the Covalo blog🌿 It's the first time for me writing a case study, so I'd love to know your thoughts. Formulating an effective and natural Vitamin C serum is no small feat—there are so many factors to consider, like stability and bioavailability. It's definitely a challenge, but that's what makes it so interesting! This project was actually from a couple of years back and since there has been even more vitamin C derivatives released onto the market. I've recently been using NV Ascorbic Acid which is a more stabilised version of L-AA, so it has the bioavailability and stability. If you've been to in-cosmetics Global, you know about the Covalo x in-cosmetics platform. It truly is a game-changer. The platform has some awesome search features that make finding the right ingredients a breeze and it's designed for formulators rather than for suppliers. I must admit to using it more over the last year.
