🆂martphone 🅼icroscop 🔬 One of my favourite inventions is the smartphone microscop for 10$. Exploring the microscopic world has never been easier! I've recently developed a microcop adapter for my iPhone 11, which pairs perfectly with a $10 jewelry microscope. The results are astounding! Check out Figure A for a video of some garden lice - it's almost magical to see this tiny world up close. 🐜✨ This adapter not only enhances your phone's capabilities but is also portable, making it ideal for on-the-go use. It's been incredibly handy for documenting electronic parts with very small fonts, among other applications. You can download it for free here: https://lnkd.in/dMt7xMBc If you're interested in a similar adapter for a different phone model, feel free to reach out. Always excited to connect with fellow innovators and enthusiasts! 📱🔧 #Innovation #Microscopy #MobileTech #DIY #Electronics

Looking at the past to shape the future: One of the most successful lens build up of ZEISS dates from 1902. It is however still used in the best smartphones that are there in the market! What a lens can do for you today… Btw do you know what Tessar stands for? Have a look:
#Throwback: 🕰️ Did you know that the Tessar, one of the most successful lenses produced by ZEISS, was named after the number of its lenses? Four, to be precise. 📷 The name is derived from "tessera", the Greek word for four. Lenses in today´s smartphones are actually based on the Tessar lens patented by ZEISS in 1902. #ZEISS #History #TB
