🛑 Navigating the Agency Landscape: Why We're Not Collaborating with External Recruiters 🛑 As many of you know, I’ve spent a significant part of my career working within agencies, so I fully understand the complexities and challenges faced by both sides of the hiring equation. Recently, I’ve been contemplating whether to include a note on my LinkedIn profile stating, “We don’t work with agencies.” The recent surge in agency outreach has been both unexpected and, frankly, frustrating. The sheer volume of agency solicitations I’ve received in recent weeks has become overwhelming. Given the current climate with global redundancies and shifting job markets, it’s more important than ever to be clear about our hiring approach. Here’s the reality: at Blancco, our approach to hiring is entirely internal. We take pride in managing every aspect of the recruitment process ourselves. This includes crafting bespoke hiring processes, collaborating closely with hiring managers, advertising roles, screening applicants, and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout. Our dedicated internal team oversees it all, ensuring that each stage of the process aligns with our company values and strategic objectives. My role is to personally ensure that every step reflects our commitment to these principles and contributes to our organisational success. One thing that’s become increasingly evident is the lack of relationship-building from agencies. A personalised approach and a genuine understanding of a company's needs are crucial. Unfortunately, receiving impersonal emails with a generic Calendly link as the only touchpoint is an immediate red flag for us. So, to be clear: while I recognise the value agencies can offer, we are currently not seeking external support for our hiring efforts. Our focus is on maintaining a streamlined, efficient, and internally managed recruitment process to find the best Blancees for Blancco. I appreciate your understanding.
